A Bit About Me

Pronouns: she/her

I’m a brand marketing strategist based in New York City. I help organizations of all sizes and people of all creative disciplines communicate their stories effectively.

I spend my weekdays as the Senior Director of Brand and Growth Marketing Strategy at New York Magazine, where I focus on growing our subscription and other consumer businesses. Recently, I worked as a creative strategist at The Wall Street Journal and as an associate marketing manager at The New York Times. Before working in media, I worked in art marketing at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

As a workshop facilitator I help artists and creatives talk about their practices through one-on-one sessions and workshops at places like New INC, The New School, Mana Contemporary and more. With the lessons I’ve learned in marketing, branding, and creative strategy, I advise the Smith College Museum of Art as the youngest member of their visiting committee.

I was born in Dhaka and raised in Queens. For a brief moment in time, I was a Massachusetts resident when I attended Smith College, where I received a BA in Economics and Art History, with a concentration in Museum Studies.

I am committed to expanding the voices represented within institutions and broadening the audiences who feel welcome in those spaces.
